Personaggi illustri figurano nella storia del Premio, ma anche scorrendo le categorie di quest'anno le star non mancano. A partire dalla coppia Smith padre e figlio, responsabili di un terribile After Earth che potrebbe insidiare a Movie 43 (troppo facile per un film demenziale e collettivo fare man bassa in una competizione come questa) il titolo di trionfatore. Ma lo scopriremo il 1 marzo (anche qui, alla vigilia della consegna degli Academy Awards), quando avremo anche risposta sulla sorte degli 'esordienti' Johnny Depp (The Lone Ranger) e Naomi Watts (Due madri); due che dovranno guardare 'dal basso' gente come Adam Sandler - alla sua terza nomination di fila - o Sly, sugli scudi con ben tre film: Jimmy Bobo, Escape Plan e Il grande Match.
