Oscar 2011: ecco le nomination!

Mark Zuckerberg contro Re Giorgio VI, sono questi i due pesi massimi della nuova edizione degli Academy Awards, la 83sima, che vedrà lo scontro tra “The Social Network” e “Il discorso del Re”, una battaglia che avrà luogo al Kodak Theatre di Los Angeles il prossimo 27 febbraio.

Ad annunciare le nominations sono stati il presidente dell’Academy Tom Sherak e l’attrice Mo’Nique che lo scorso anno vinse il premio per la sua performance in “Precious”.

Tra i film che competeranno contro Fincher  e Hooper ci saranno anche “Il cigno nero”, “The Fighter”, “Inception”, “I ragazzi stanno bene”, “127 Ore” “Toy Story 3 – La grande fuga”, “Il grinta” (reintegrato dopo essere stato ignorato ai Golden Globe) e “Un gelido inverno”, la pellicola che è già stata acclamata a Sundance e al Festival di Torino, vera sorpresa tra i candidati.

I fratelli Coen tornano a essere candidati sia come migliori registi sia nella categoria migliore sceneggiatura non originale. Dovranno vedersela con David Fincher che, dopo aver sfiorato la statuetta con “Benjamin Button”, è pronto per la sua grande occasione. Per quanto riguarda le performance attoriali, invece, standing ovation per Jeff Bridges che potrebbe ritrovarsi sul palco premiato per “Il grinta” dopo aver vinto la statuetta lo scorso anno per “Crazy Heart”.
